out today with ianjohn and young rod to try a new farm up wiltshire area.after an early pick up we finally got to the farm just after 9am.a lovely area it was too.after getting ready and a quick cuppa we headed off to field one.it was.nt long before we started finding the buttons..lead and in my fifth signal i pulled out my first silver of the day in the shape of a victorian thru-punce..two signals later i pulled out another silver vicky thru-punce.todays my day im on a roll..lol.after about an hour we headed off into field two.still the odd coins coming up and the odd buckle ect-ect..then out popped a lovely canadian cap-badge..canadian engineers.rod thought he,d try field three before he tried field two.and i cant blaim him.lol. he was in there no longer than 3 mins when he called us over and there in his hand was a stunner of a hammered coin.I.D would be great please.after ploding along for a few hours ianjohn thought he.d join rod on the hammereds with a nice lizzy something.I.D please..possible half-groat is my guess.but all in all a great farm and a must return.
thanks again boys for a great outing...here.s a few of the finds and young rods hammered.
im sure ian will put a picture of his hammered up to follow.

Nice finds ray and the boys - loving the Henry VII - great nick coin and quite a scarcity.

I also like the Canadian cab badge with the beaver on it - nice finds lads - keep them coming
