Hi folks
I have taken some new photo's that  show the coating that has began coming off the coin/button. Hopefully it is a little clearer from these there is no obvious shank on the item. Can anybody make out the image that might have been within the "silver" coating.thanks again for your help.

Detecting since christmas,  learned more (interesting) history, than in the previous 50 years.
If detecting is an addiction, I hope they never find a cure.
