I have a few belt harnesses for sale. I'm not making a profit and it's not a business venture!

The harness is designed for any detector. I even use one with my XP Deus.

It's nothing to do with supporting the weight whilst detecting, but the idea is that when you locate
a signal you can simply let go of your machine without it falling to the floor, so it saves it getting
muddy and wet. The other advantage is you don't have to bend down to pick it up off the ground.
The less bending you do, the easier on your back.

I have used one for many years and I find it an essential piece of equipment. I think once you
have used one you will notice how much harder detecting is without one.

The top is a loop which slides over your belt. The cord is adjustable to how you detect. The velco
strap and small plastic ring can stay permanently on your detector stem.

The detector can be unclipped from your belt in a second or two.

The whole thing is fully adjustable.

The price is £5 which includes postage (UK only!). I have three for immediate sale but can get more.

Any questions, feel free to ask.  Grin

I wouldn't be without it and even use one in summer. Just saves on bending down or having to
hold on to your detector whilst digging.

Do you use one Chef?

Oh you smooth talking salesman Grin no I don't, OK I'll have one. PM me your address and I'll pop a fiver in the post. I had to spend 20 minutes yesterday washing down my machine so any help to keep it clean is definitely worth  £5.

Done!  Grin

You'll wonder how you ever managed without one when you start using it.

I can see headphone manufacturing going into decline as you start harness manufacturing !!!!   Shocked  Grin

No. It doesn't support the weight whilst detecting................just when you dig.

Hey Bob, if youre still speaking to me  Roll Eyes can I ask if it's poss. to attach a clip to the belt end. I don't wear a belt but have said a few times I could do with something to stop my tector dropping on the ground.

Hi Val

Of course I'm still speaking to you.........I've got thick skin!

The harness is designed to be worn from a belt, either a trouser belt or web belt.

What are you thinking of attaching a clip too? You could get a large safety pin (nappy sort!) and
pin the top but it may drag that item of clothing.

Couldn't you get a belt off hubby and wear this over your coat as many of us do with our belt bags?

Another option is to get a bum bag and slide the top over the belt, and you could use the bum bag
to put your rubbish in or finds, etc.

I don't make them so I wouldn't be able to do any alterations. Hopefully one of my ideas may help.  Wink

Thanks

Hi Bob,  I was thinking of clipping it to a belt loop (I wear jeans) I do the same with my pin pointer in a little dog treat bag. It works great.
I'm sure I can frig something up so PM or E.Mail me your address and I'll send the neccessary.

'cause I only had three to sell and their gone!

However, I will take my spare and if anyone wants one I'll get my contact to knock up some more. It's a
hobby he does due to a disability and he doesn't really make a profit as such, more for our benefit
as he gets out detetcing occasionally.

After postage I'm breaking even. I find it such an invaluable aide that I'm surprised more detectorists
aren't using them.

You learn little tips and things over they years. Experience!  Smiley

I have had a few more of these belt harnesses made by a friend.

They are for sale at £4 each on the day or £5 posted.

I'm not making a profit but doing it as it's an excellent bit of equipment to save your machine
dropping to the floor and getting dirty when you want to dig a target.

The velcro loop stays on the detector and can be attached/ unattached from your belt in seconds.

It is not to support the weight of your machine whilst detecting..........just when you dig!

Two are reserved but I have 4 others.

I can highley recommend this bit of equipment, it's great.. As Bob said, stops your detector from dropping on ground and saves you having to put it down  every time you get a bleep.
Another thing I like about it is, because you don't put 'tector on ground my earphones don't get pulled.
Treat youselves. Grin
