Had a cold wet and windy day out with Neil yesterday. The buttons were in plenty of supply but the coinage was not. Neil had amongst other things a 1941 Shilling.  Mine are below .

Peter I would like your idea on the flower patterned artifact.

Rob I had a draw handle on a fire place similar to that when I lived in digs at Exeter Uni quite a few years ago. The fireplace was Victorian. Probably completely wrong but just a thought.
