Title: Few hours out this morning Post by: spaceonwhite on April 17, 2017, 01:03:26 PM Spent a few hours out this morning on a field which up until today had given up few finds of any interest. Last time I went on it I did 4 hours and found nothing. Today I found my first thimble, a spindle whorl, Victoria threepence and a nice Elizabeth I threepence. It's a funny old game ;D

To be honest, besides a little bit of mud in some of the crevasses, it pretty much came out like that. Lovely feeling when you first see it. Only my 3rd hammered coin but my best so far. I'm sure there's plenty out there.
