HI ALL
out today to a new farm ive reciently picked up in the monmouth area.had the chance to detect with 2 very good friends of mine and 2 long standing detectingwales members.saxon ( gavin ) viking ( ray )
after a bit of a bummer of a start..as saxons machine died on him this morning.it came on and then went off and stayed that way..it needs a minelab doctor..if anyone out there could take a look at it. please send me a pm.save him sending it to ireland..out on the field we went shareing the machines from time to time with saxon..
coins started to come up straight from the word go..going back to the late 1600s..viking (ray) managed to find 2 romans and part of a crotel bell..also saxon was banging out the coins when we passed our machines to him to have a crack..myself the useual greens..and then i found my first william 4th six-punce ive waited over 10 years to find a william 4th..its in very good condition its been werth the wait..about an hour after that i found my nicest buckle to date..and just at the end of the shift i found this lovely silver horse shoe brooch or badge.a great start to a new farm.the only thing that never come up was the hammereds themselves.
a great day out with great company..cheers saxon and viking..
cheers everyone.
