Nice find. If you could measure it in millimetres that would be helpful.

It's Henry VII or VIII, but probably a halfpenny rather than a farthing.

Hi mate had a signal very weak 1 . 10 on machine put into pinpoint at least 4 inches possibly deeper was not in the clot that's about 4 inches thick to be honest I was surprised at the depth I got it  in pasture

I thought it was a farthing because it is around 8-9mm I would say I can't imagine a coin being smaller

Some are even smaller such as the Henry VIII farthings which are typically 7-8mm. I still think it's probably a halfpenny.Maybe most like this one:
