Well,my finds wish list for 2011 was to find Roman silver and here it is! Gold stater next please! Grin
Any chance of giving me an ID on it? Thinking either Antoninius Pius or Septimius Severus but could be totally wrong as I'm only going by the beard! Sorry the pics are a bit rubbish but thats the best I could get.

Nice coin Benny, well Taff and I have just been on the phone debating which Emperor it might be and our guess is that you were right with Antoninius Pius, though to be sure we would need about 15 pints of real ale each so that our focus matched the photograph Grin
