Am I imagining things?

Had a sort through my trash bucket today and came across this mount of some kind, which on closer inspection has a pattern and what looks to me like an animals head at the pointy end, not too clear on the photos but can anyone else see what I mean, or am I loosing my marbles...? Roll Eyes
