fluctuated from 72 down to 24 then settled on 41 cronge. Normally my hammereds come in at 27 - 32 but they are very small and thin normally.

Nice coin Rob. Looks to me like a Class 10cf3 penny. These coins are always listed under Edward I, but it is most likely they were minted early in the reign of Edward II, around 1307.
