Post by: bernie on September 21, 2009, 04:30:46 PM
Hi, new to this forum, found this little coin the other day, very unusual I have not been able to research it (could not find any thing about it what so ever) it is a queen victoria shilling dated 1887, around the edge it say imitation of one shilling on the obverse it has what its supposed to have but the writing says nurn berg ghr.la.uer it  could be silver as it cleaned up very well,I have put a normal 20p next to it for comparison, hope you can help thanks.
