Well managed to get out for a few hours on Friday, the grass was too long to do anything but found a few patches of short grass and pulled out various lumps of metal.

The spike looking item looks interesting if any one can id id it. A hook, a rusty nut ( nothing worse ) ,  various bits and found a 1928 sixpence with out the detector.

Will return to the field when it's cut in a few weeks.
