Hi musket although not on my patch Newgale has given up a good amount of Roman and even bronze age in the past especially after very strong westerly's, like any beach conditions have to be favourable  Wink

not done much at newgale myself.is it all along the beach for items or a paticular spot there.

nice campsite right behind the beach and a pub for a pint and good food , always full of surfers so should be plenty of bling to be found on newgale

I agree with Mike, as it happens that was also the area were all the pebbles and shingle shifted, and exposed the old stuff Roll Eyes
