Bit of a long shot doc. Looks very similar to a George II shilling in spinks, and sizes up to the pic perfectly. A forgery maybe? 
This ones been doing my head in for a while. It's defiantly copper, I took a nip off the edge to make sure. The reverse is totally pollished off.

Fair chance it is a forgery. I've got a couple of George III halfcrowns in copper and brass and a George II Double sovereign (?) in copper.
