hi everyone , i am new to the metaldetecting scene in North Wales, also a novice in the forum. im really keen on joining a group, and getting out around the north wales area. Can anyone help me in my new hobby.

Caz welcome to the friendliest detecting site on net. your wish to join a club is a very wise one, could save you a lot of time , money and effort.
unfortunatley the links for North wales clubs on here aren't too helpful yet but PM steve morris on here and he should be able to sort you out with club details.

Welcome treasure hunter any questions just ask as there is always someone on here that will know the answer and join in the fun we are all very welcoming and friendly enjow hope to meet up on a rally sometime maybe
