i have found another club based in north west wales....it's the gwynedd recovery and search society...their website is   www.grass.i12.com     there is an email addy for the sec...i'll PM you with that...lol.... Wink..it does'nt say exactly where they hold meetings etc...but hope this helps....byron

im new to this metal detecting,been out a few times but no luck yet.
i live in rhyl, north wales and would be glad of some company, as im not keen on going on my own, i dont mind going solo along the beach, but i draw the line at going over fields and thru woods on my own,

hi richard,

i am also from north wales i am from denbigh, dont think you will have much luck with the wrexham club i have spoken to a couple of people who have been knocked back by the club as they did not live in wrexham  Undecided. i believe the mold club would be a better bet, that is the club i am going to hopefully join asap.
