Folks,

Detecting the sidelines of a sports field I had done many years ago.....gridded it off and went very slowly all the way around to see what I had missed.

Found a bit of modern coins....1 silver 10 cent coin from 1962 and at about 6" (15cm) out pops this half penny token which I managed to ding....lol...

So true the tokens versus regular coinage generally have a more interesting story....issued due to shortages of regular coins...as commeratives, etc....
