Title: An evening with the Romans
Post by: hotmill on April 15, 2015, 12:01:50 PM
Managed a few hours on one of my permissions last night. I concentrated on an area that I found a couple of Roman coins on a few weeks ago.

I found the Brooch in the first 10 minutes, think its a Trumpet brooch? and the coin shortly afterwards, think its a Sestertius but no idea who's on it, the back is toast I'm afraid.

If anyone can add any info I'd be very appreciative.

I went home happy though.
