Have found some casings from these, about 5-6" long :) Apparently there was lots of practice between Porthcawl and Aberavon around then.

years ago, there used to be a website called swansea history web, which had identified all the UXB and dates and types of bombs dropped on swansea, the port and town over the 6 years of ww2. It was a wonderful piece of research which i don;t think is now available on the net .. unless anyone knows better!! It's not really designed as an anti-personnel weapon, more for stopping lorries lol but the longest sniper kill shot was made with one of those bullets at nearly two and a half Kilometres :o Apparently if you get hit with one it doesn't so much go through you, more turns you inside out, wraps you up and takes you with it. :D
