 :) hi gang how many of you out there have found a William & Mary silver coin,my m8 richard jones found 1 back in November  2006 a penny on a Cardiff scan club rally at Skenthrith , dont seem to be a lot found because on the uk finds database there are only 4 recorded and one of those is Richard's penny .would be interesting to see how many have been found by peps on here .

Never found one Casa - would be a nice find. Any chance of a photo from your mate?

Did find a copper/alloy half penny of William and mary but no silver.

 :) i have asked the same question on UK detector net and only one person so far as said they have found a william & Mary silver that was a twopence in the 1990s. so will also keeping a eye on here to see if anybody as found one. seems to be quite rare these W &M silver .

Yeah i found two nice coins last year that were recorded,  their in the pic gallery.
one was of Mary and the other one of Mary and Philp groats.  a set in really good condition very rare,

bringing it up again about William and mary penny ,still find it unusual that not many of these nice silver pennies have not been found so if anybody do let me know just find it unusual,  ??? ???

hi i have detected for 25years had  copper coins william& mary   but no silver ones  some great coins on show on this listting, thanks for the look   mick

Hello Kev,I don't doubt that it is a true coin and would be accepted at any shop of the time , all I was meaning was that it looked like a love token type. I have 12 in different forms of wear, some of them can be dated.

I've found two "Mary Groats" over the years but high on my wish list is a coin of William and Mary.
