Title: Trade weight ? Id please Post by: Tafflaff (Rob) on August 09, 2009, 10:55:22 AM Found this when out with Gadget and Neil earlier this week. It has a number 27 on it , and what appears to ne the letter 'J' above the 27 . The nearest I've foinf to it is a Portugese coin weight for 27 shillings , but the 27 is higher on the weight and has slanted milling around the weight. Not only that, but my trade/coin weight is the size of a pound coin.....maybe ever so slightly thinner. I've included the similar on (not mine) below my pic.
