Hi all,

Found this on Tuesday and I can't find out what it is. I'm hoping that someone has found / seen one before and knows what it is and roughly its age. There is a little bit of gold coloured gilding on it.
Thanks
Smoo

Thanks Dingdong.
I did think it could be something of that type but not that old  Shocked. I posted a shield shaped badge and Val said that is possibly to do with horse leatherwork. I think I will have to take this item to Chester as well.
