My normal programs and  settings I use  null out junk jewelry and most modern coins which suits me  Grin ,   My wife and I are taking the granddaughters to the beach tomorrow and they want to get loads of treasure bless them, I am thinking of running my etrac with an open screen but what settings would you recommend please  as i want to pick up the junk jewelry and 1p,2p,5p,10p,, as they  have got their buckets and spades to dig the treasure and knowing the kids they will not have the patience to wait for me to fiddle with the settings  Wink

Sorry, can't help with the settings as I only aspire to an E-Trac - I use a DFX which is quite happy in any kind of sand.

But I'm sure somebody who does have an E-Trac will be along shortly and see your question, which is now higher in the posting history than it was . . .  Wink
