Title: Canal Bridge Removal Post by: BottyBurp (Kris) on April 03, 2009, 06:16:06 PM Sad day today, the Canal Bridge at Slimbridge (Patch Bridge) was removed and a new one opened to traffic.
I missed the actual removal but I did manage to video the 2 lorrys carrying the old bridge away & here are some piccys of the crane used to lift it. The crane was apparently in excess of 200 Tonnes! Amazing Burp |
