Talking of batteries, am I right in thinking that the higher the MaH of a battery means longer life of the battery.

My rechargeables [  4 x AA ] were 4.99 and are 2900MaH. They can be charged 1000+ times and each charge gives a full  2 days out detecting before I need to recharge. So that's 2000 days or 6 years solid detecting for a fiver.   ;)

works  out around 1-2 pence per battery to charge  :D you have to add in the cost of the charger for the first year but it soon becomes happy days ;)

But,you still can't get away from the fact that they are comparatively less expensive than normal retail price,If you read the initial piece I said it was for those who, like me use AABatteries,NOT,as a comparison to rechargeable batteries!OK? >:(
