yesterday was the Chester mob AGM. happy to say we had 100% attendance (3  Cheesy). we had 1 field with decent ridge and furrow evident. great to see, but seems that the lack of recent ploughing lets all the silver beauties sink out of range  Embarrassed over 30 coins between us, mostly george III. lots of digging, a good day. here are my finds, think i have a broken medieval pot leg, 2 spindle whorls (1 with the frame around it, my others were from near here too), spiky buckle, 1922 shilling and 1914 sixpence. thanks for looking and happy new year

Nice day out chaps.

Well I had my last day of the year out today, struggled along as we do, trying my best to dig in the frozen solid ground  Huh Tongue.
Nothing to show I'm afraid the icy ground eventually beat me.
