Though I am not a fan of commercial rallies but am a regular DW rally man there are some good sites earmarked for digs in 2011. I am already booked in at the Help for Heroes dig at Bishop Burton and the Margeret Roding charity Rally near St Albans . It may be worth your while having some time at some of these Sinky to gain some experience and find some different things that may not be found local to you.
