Looking for some where south Wales Valleys to metal detect with my son anyone help ?? Have tried Aberafan Beach but no success Smiley Looking for relics or coins.

Any help be greatly appreciated !

If you're handy enough on the internet, go to yell.com.  Category farmers or farms. Do a search in the area you wish to detect. Explain you and you son have just started and you was wondering if they had a pasture field you could have a go on. You will get some no's but you'll get somewhere eventually.

Make sure you get FID insurance first. And read up on recording artefacts/coins   http://finds.org.uk/ is good to read
