myself and bill went back to our hammered field i got another today a really good condition Edward H/penny,a nice patterned spindle whorl, a tiny coin with what looks like victoria on with a 1 on the back,buttons and the normal stuff.

I am very sad because I only got a worn Georgian as well as buttons and loads of lead.  Cry Cry Cry However, next time things might be different.lol

Old clever clogs here even took his own hammered in a plastic bag. Set the detector up to it "in air" then buried it, still in plastic bag. Huh
Believe it or not, I buried it slightly deeper than I should have and then had a job to locate it properly. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Grin
