i use the x terra 70 basically the same , the best advice i was given is run in all metal 2 tone and just dig the higher pitched good 2 way signals ignore the low tones, it has certainly worked for me, its a great machine just remember to ground balance and noise cancel everytime. ive had coins down to about 10" with this machine, allways have the threshold so you can just hear the hum, and tghe only thing you need adjust is sensitivity depending on ground conditions, but ive never had to go lower than 24 but normally run about 27. hope this helps

That is the fastest and deepest way to use the machine. Crank the sensitivity up as far as you can go remaining stable. They should range 25 or above quite easily.

All I would do is black out +48 and leave the rest open. This will knock out any coke and wrap around iron falsing.
Iron will signature from the minus numbers into +48 and give you 'ghost' high tones that'll ruin your rhythm.
