I had to have a smile to myself at the antics of some of the detectorists in the video's.
One guy was taking large steps forward and about 6" high missing out on a lot of ground whilst the other was swinging his detector like a pendulum.

Am I being critical because they seem to be finding a lot of stuff? Roll Eyes

I agree with you on that Charles, we have a guy in our club who swings like a golf player & walks like a sprinter, I've never seen anyone search as quickly as he does but he's the one that always makes the better finds!

Me, I'm like a snail & I do make some great finds but I'd blank every time if I searched in that way!
