Detected a sports field this morning managed a broken crotal bell, a buckle from a rifle sling I believe and a plated gold ring shows GF 10k inside the band...there should be a law against bogus jewelry... ;D ;D Regards + HH Bill Title: Re: Folks, Dang plated rings.... Lots of crotal bells turn up over here they were used probably until about 1900 give or take....I'd say this one is probably late 1800's but just a guess on my part.
