They could be furniture mounts or decorations.  The bottom pici seems to show something that could be tapped into  wood.

Nice to find unusual things, keeps you guessing. ;D

Were they found close together? And have you a pic of no3 overhead rather than profile ;)

They were found on the same field, about 50yds apart,
Geoff No3 is the profile of No2 , and No 1 is slightly thicker but its reverse is blank.

The hole looks counter sunk ,as if it would be screwed into wood

Thanks for the suggestions, definaly agree the hole is countersunk and its machine made.
Another thing to go in the unknown box  ??? ??? ???
