Title: id if possible pls Post by: hammerd on March 07, 2015, 08:11:13 PM Giving some old coins a clean and came across these not as easy as I thought 1 with hole is George 3rd not sure what it is. and though other 1 was George 2nd but don't match up any ideas cheers

It wouldn't be plated as such as lead has the lower melting point and so what ever it is/was must have been filled with lead, I would say mount but the remaining dots on the reverse look as if they were for grip and must have a purpose :-\
