Didn't know Jerry was on here!!!!.....for those who don't know, Jerry (JBM) and I are WHRADA club members!

Yep....still using the 2 tone ferrous ETrac setup with amazing success.

Got a picture of one of the roman brooches I found using this setup on the front cover of TH this month!!!
It's the one with chequered enamel.

i have always been told to use conductive tones when inland by other etrac users and ferous on beaches ,i'm confused i think my tiny twisted brain is about to implode creating a black hole which will suck up the universe aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg. Huh

Two tone ferrous can be used anywhere. It works so well, we never change it.

....in FERROUS sounds......and two tones........FE18 to FE35 will give a low tone.....FE01 to FE17 will give a high tone.

Iron will give you a high tone when in CONDUCTIVE sounds..........
