There you go again Doug. I said you always manage to find something nice.  The chain looks like a converted Busby chin chain, what do you reckon. ??

Thanks Val,

Chain is bit of a mystery, it had a rubber type material or the remains of around it when I found it.

I know the elderly landowner walks his dogs over these fields so I will drop in to see him next week to see if it is his.

My first thoughts was dog chain.

Well done Doug I like the tradesman's farthing can you read it? It must be the William and Anne season as only a few weeks ago I was out with Nobby and JCB and Nobby showed me a W+A farthing he had found the week before and later that day I also found one and like you I don't find many in fact I bet I don't get more than one every 5 years if that ;)
