Coming back past Evesham today i was busting to pop behind the hedge as they say when i spotted two detectorists. so i thought i would have the said business and pop and have a chat and introduce my self. Did the business and turned to walk towards the pair when they just legged it like a F1 car. Never to be seen again. What do ya reckon. Illega

Seriously though folks if they were illegally detecting I mean it was 1300 hrs on a warm sunny day in broad daylight . I mean the cheek of it. I was cutting across the back road from Childhamwick Near Broadway to join the A46 to  Tewkesbury and is a rubbish road for cars as you can not see over hedges,but in the Sprinter you can see in the fields and on down the road. I did not see any other vehicles.

Paul , there is a site on facebook for Night hawking. People on there bragging about how they blag Policemen ect. They all  got black balaclavas on. Now thats blatent!

its on u tube as well does not look good for genuine detectorists it really will give us a bad name.
