Here are a few layers of of my finds cabinet, and thats just the junk Undecided The Roman coins are not a hoard, before anyone asks, but it shows how many have been dropped over their occupation of 400 years.

I'm sure there is plenty to find in Wales, it's just a case of walking over it.

Not sure about "plenty in Wales" Avalon - I think the Welsh invented zips and velcro long before the rest of the world caught on  Grin  I reckon several counties in England have seen a lot denser - as in more people  Cheesy -  habitation across hundreds of years than we have here in Wales.

Fabulous collection - well done.

This is one of my favorite finds, it's now on long term lone to the Corinium museum. A sword pommel from a La Tene III anthropoid sword hilt in the form of a male head. The head has an elaborate hairstyle of five braids emanating from knobbed terminals at the forehead.

It would have looked something like this, when on the sword handle.
