Managed to get out today at long last-nothing of real interest but nice to be out and the weather was on my side today! Did have a few bits though-buckle-Georgian horse buckle maybe? silver thimble, spindle whorl? and a lead thing which I at first thought could of been a powder measure but has got a hole drilled in the top/bottom? Any ideas on anything would be good ta!

Only been out twice this year and haven't found a single coin of any description yet let alone a hammered! Still, early days yet and I'm hoping for my first roman silver to turn up. Just gotta keep trying!
