RING RING Post by: Dryland on April 22, 2015, 09:01:37 PM Went out for a couple of hours and as usual was accosted by a man and his labrador wanting to know if I had found anything. [ the man not the dog ] Considering that he had followed me in to the field it was pretty obvious that I hadn't even had time to switch the Deus on, let alone find anything. As he was walking in the direction that I wanted to go I decided to go the opposite way. In a matter of an hour I found £4.91 in spending money and 12 pre decimal coins. As I was kneeling, digging a signal, up ran the flipping labrador
again followed by his owner, again he asked if I had found anything [ the man not the dog ] but this time he kept me talking and I just couldn't get away. Finally he ran off [ the dog not the man] and off went this bloke after him, GOD BLESS LABRADORS. Anyway to avoid bumping into him again, I again went in the opposite direction and within 10 minutes I had an iffy signal that I decided to dig and out popped this gold ring, my first with the Deus.
