Hello guys,myself and tom went out yesterday to our new permission,and a new field,started off a little bit slow with a couple of buttons and grotty half pennies,then all of a sudden I popped out a lovely Charles shilling I thought oh perhaps things are going to change,then a few more bits and pieces I had a very unsual door or gate latch then tom popped out a lovely lizzy sixpence,the photo don't do it justice,then I came across a lovely little silver buckle ring I think there was a little piece missing from the back but still beautiful,so all in all it turned out not a bad day,hope you've had a good rally today,happy digging Ron.

Nice one Ron.  Looks like you've got the hang of reducing photo size.
We had a lovely day, lovely ground and great landowners.  Not so many finds yesterday, but some nice finds for our collections.  Looking forward to our next outing.
I've attached a photo of yesterdays Lizzie sixpence after washing it.

Thanks guys.   We are pleased as punch with our silver finds recently and we've come across what seems a great permission with over 1000 acres and plenty of history.  Perhaps we'll have to get out more often to cover it all  !!!  (wishful thinking)  Cheers.  Tom and Ron.
