Title: Purse Frame Post by: jaydogg on December 16, 2008, 07:46:27 PM Mark and I (Jonathan) were out today at one of our sites and Mark had the superfluous good fortune to find this late medieval – early Tudor purse frame; no coins I’m afraid (yet). ;)

Going to bring it to the Scan Club meeting tomorrow; it's a chunky thing and there's another part to it not photographed that is a metal strip with a Tudor rose at the top. It was found in the same hole but can't see how it would attach, even though there must be a relationship between the two parts, ah well. :P
