No it didn't  Cheesy or at least it would of been an American import as the Tornado name was only used for coils made for the Sovereign range over here.

Hi Mike

As geoff says the sovereign is one of the best beach machines on the market and you can pick one up relativly cheap . The Sov is my favorite for the beach, you can hipmount it which is handy when your wading in the surf and it makes it really light to swing and you can  tuck  the control box  under your coat when it lashes down with rain  Grin.The explorer / etrac range will give you more information before you decide to dig and are more versatile for inland and beaches - on the beach I tend to dig every signal that registers with a threshold tone no matter how poor so for beaches I don't need  all the infomation given by the explorer/etrac. The sovereign is  also simpler and easier to learn;  hope this helps

my mate has found 2 gold rings on his last 2 outings with an explorer on the beach and i am going with him to barry tomorrow so i can check it out . cheers guys
