new detector any help or tips minelab quattro

hi i got a new detector on the weekend its a minelab quattro any info or tips would   be handy thanks gav

yup, use auto sensitivity, stick it in coin and jewelry, accept everything bar -10.(reject that)
Iron = High tone, Low Conductivity targets, I.E Hammered and small Romans give a nice low Growl.
Some good items also give a high tone, but doing the way i've said, you have the icons for assistance.
Golden rule:
high tone     = high number good target
high tone low number, bad target, but dig to -6 any way,
Low tone, dig it and hope its a hammered
