Probably one of the most asked questions on this site, what machine should i purchase to start off with a budget of about £150, and were would i purchase from Rhondda Boy, all advice greatly appreciated. Wink

for that budget a garrett ace 250 is a great machine , simple to use and finds the goodies , nice and light too , shame about the colour though Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

What sort of price for second hand would you pay, funny you should metion the 250 i had my eye on 1 of them, seems to be good right ups, yes shame about the colour. Looking on Ebay £120 - £150 or would you go for new?

buy new around £180 , dont be tempted by the usa sellers as you will get hammered with import taxes etc , buy from a uk seller

Hi Rob and welcome.  There's a Garrett Ace 250 on Amazon for £182.95  + £6.00 postage if your interested.

The seller is Spin-a-Disc whoever they are but through Amazon you should be O.K.

Spin a disc are OK, they are one of the oldest suppliers in the country Wink And they have a C-Scope CS1220XD for only £149
