Hi all

Hope you all have a great year for finds, my year has certainly started on a high, within hal an hour of starting out this morning i pulled my first hammered of the year which im almost certain its a short cross of John 1199 - 1216, after tramping on for another half hour or so up popped my next bit of silver in the form of a damaged piece of a william 3rd shilling, then after digging up the usual buttons and lead out popped my first Jews harp !! the rest of the day produced some badly worn coppers and a cartwheel penny.

The hammered looks nice but a bit out of focus, or it could be down to all the beer....

Lol ive just been researching about cameras, my phone doesnt have macro and my scanner isnt all that sometimes!!!

As it was my last day before going back to work, decided to take the kids to the beach rather than detect yesterday - although I did more digging Smiley
