''On it like Sonic''

« on: August 03, 2012, 07:20:22 PM »

Hi All

I went for a little walk earlier, within 2 minutes of picking my line the Euroace starting singing and produced what was confirmed after a quick call to me old mucker Deadlock as a William III silver 2 pence.

I can honestly say then for at least an hour or so of nothing at all another silver popped up i think its William III but it doesnt show in my 2012 spinks its also dated 1706 which is in the Anne period any help appreciated ?

my other mystery one is what maybe a button but has a hint of Roman maybe so i may be wrong ?

And my final find was a George III penny, i can say that becuase its the only identifiable one ive found to date lol my others are grotty as grotbags!!!

Wow, Love the early milled.

That second one looks like a Loius XIV to me... LVD XIII, so a nice little Frenchy for sure

Well found
