Out today with Rambo and c8ble in Somerset few bits if roman and this tiny token ? Looks silvered and has a milled edge looks like it says jd 4 6 on both sides  any ideas please  Huh Thanks

Nice find. It's an 18th century coin weight for a Portuguese gold coin. See here:

It is a British coin weight, variously listed as a quarter guinea or an eighth of a Portuguese 'Joe' (6,400 reis I think), equivalent to 4 shillings and sixpence.
