can,t you make one out of a decorators  extending pole or something simular, just an idea.

Good Idea, but I'm afraid not. the part I need has a camlock on it ;)

seen a camlock but never seen a shaft with one of them,so can,t comment.

does the camlock adjust the length of the shaft,if so cant you make a shaft thats ftxed to the length you want?

Possibly, but as the detector is practically as new, I'm trying to get the original part

Twist lock on dfx, try ringing whites Inverness factory Dylan, they are very nice folk, ive got to ring them soon, so if you don't want to I'll ask for you if you like.

Hey Andy, thanks for that, The fella I had the detector off found the bottom shaft, he's having another look for the middle bit, if he can't find it I'll let you know  ;)
