Very interesting - admit I didn't even know there was a roman fort in Merthyr, although it makes sense that they must have at least had some kind of camp between Caerphilly and Brecon Smiley

There are plenty more roman places still to be found.

There's that place fairly near Carreg Cennen - in a Park - it was on TimeTeam amongst others, but that isn't in Pembroke...

There are bound to be places in Pembroke - someone had to be supplying Carmarthen.
